There are approximately 3.8 million licensed real estate professionals in the United States, but only members of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® can call themselves REALTORS®.
Approximately 950,000 real estate professionals have taken the additional step to join NAR, The Voice for Real Estate. When choosing a real estate professional, look for the registered trademark, REALTOR®.
The HANFRA Mission
The Hamptons and North Fork REALTORS® Association exists to maintain the REALTORS® Code of Ethics, to provide our members in the five East End towns of Long Island with state-of-the-art programs, products, and services that are more affordable and accessible collectively than individually, to advocate a high standard of education and professionalism, to influence public policy and political affairs which promote and protect private property rights, to enhance the public image of REALTOR® members, and to act as a contributing member of our community, NAR and NYSAR. Unlike real estate practitioners who are simply licensed by their state to do business, REALTORS® are members of NAR and subscribe to the association's strict Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.

The REALTORS Political Action Committee is working for you.
The REALTORS Political Action Committee (RPAC) works for REALTORS in city hall, Albany and Washington, D.C. Your contributions to RPAC support federal, state and local lawmakers who share the REALTOR commitment to promote homeownership and private property rights.
RPAC is administered by an autonomous group of REALTOR trustees representing all regions of New York. Decisions on contributions to candidates are based on an individual's voting record, not party affiliations. It is a candidate's demonstration of support for REALTOR issues that leads to an RPAC contribution.

The National Association of REALTORS® is America's largest trade association, representing 1.3 million members, including NAR's institutes, societies, and councils, involved in all aspects of the residential and commercial real estate industries.
